With a stainless steel mouthpiece, this bit is durable, easy to clean, tasteless and does not rust. The waterford mouthpiece is comprised entirely of lozenges curving around the tongue. 

The full cheek assists with steering and prevents the bit from being pulled through the horse's mouth.
