The 3-ring cheekpiece provides a leverage action, with the bit becoming stronger as the reins are attached to the lower rings.

The Waterford mouthpiece consists of a series of rounded links that create a flexible, multi-directional feel and make it difficult for the horse to grab and lean on the bit. The mouthpiece can form to the horse’s mouth and distribute pressure evenly, helping the rider maintain control without relying on a rigid mouthpiece. While gentle in experienced, soft hands, this bit can be sharp when used with strong or inexperienced hands.

The Sweet Iron mouthpiece develops a natural surface oxidation when exposed to moisture, creating a sweet taste that encourages salivation and bit acceptance. Over time, the distinctive blue Sweet Iron finish will naturally develop into a brownish-gray color.

TRUST bits are designed, developed, and handcrafted in the Netherlands using carefully selected materials and high-quality manufacturing standards. Their anatomically curved design helps the bit follow the shape of the horse’s mouth, promoting a comfortable fit and more even pressure distribution.
