The TRUST Sweet Iron 2.5 Ring Waterford Bit combines a flexible, multi-jointed Waterford mouthpiece with a 2.5-ring cheekpiece for adjustable leverage and control. The rounded links of the Waterford mouthpiece allow the bit to move in multiple directions and make it more difficult for the horse to grab or lean on the bit, while the 2.5-ring design provides additional control when needed.

Made with Sweet Iron, the mouthpiece naturally develops surface oxidation when exposed to moisture, creating a sweet taste that encourages salivation and can promote better acceptance of the bit. The distinctive blue finish will naturally change to a brownish-gray color over time as the Sweet Iron oxidizes.

Designed and handcrafted in the Netherlands, TRUST bits feature an anatomically curved design that follows the shape of the horse’s mouth for improved fit and pressure distribution. This bit is best suited to experienced riders with soft, educated hands.
